God loves us even when we failed!

Have you ever heard someone say, "If you do bad, God will get mad and will remember what you have when you reach Judgement Day."  Have you heard something like that?  I have had a friend telling me that he's afraid of God's wrath and imagining that He will punish him because of all those "bad" that he have done.  He was so afraid that he got "saved" out of fear.  To me , that's a wrong way to get saved.  A person should be saved by Love and compassion without fear.  God will not ever force you to be saved because He wants you to be saved through the Love of Christ and without fear.  After all, God is Love and His Love for you is absolute.

God will always continue to love you no matter how much mistakes you have made (including me!) or done things wrong.  It's by His performance that blesses you, not by our performances.  God will not remember your lawless deeds because of what Christ have done for you on the Cross.  Does that mean you and I can do bad things?  No, what I mean is that the more we know how much God have forgiven us and how much He loves us, the less we have the desire to sin because we put Jesus first above everything else. The more we focus on Christ by praying, reading His Word, being around people who loves Jesus, the more we don't focus on "sin". Sure there are times when we fall short and sin but God will always be there to pick us up.  Sin can't control us as long we have Jesus first in our minds, our hearts, and our lives.

(Romans 6:14)
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

(Hebrews 10:16-18)
16 “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,”
17 then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.”
18 Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin.

Even when you and I make mistakes , we should not dwell on it, we just say "Thank you God for your forgiveness and making me a new creation.  I am the righteous not because I do the right thing but because of What Christ have done for me.  Through His Blood, I am a new creation and I have Christ inside of me who is the Righteous One so therefore I am the righteousness of God through Christ!" AMEN!

Always remember this:  God loves you and always well.  He's your Father and will always take care of you.  Don't be afraid to boldly go to Him and ask Him what you need.  God wants you blessed and full of joy!

My dream.

I had a dream that I was in the hospital from a horrible car wreck. I was wearing EKG stuff with the heart monitor, and noticed that my other leg was amputated. I could feel my heart rate slowly beating and my wife was on my bedside, crying, and my kids were there asking me to come home. Then all of the sudden, I felt an overwhelming peace as I was drifting off to sleep. I couldn't hear anything and "BAM!" appeared the Devil himself. As I was facing the Devil, all of the sudden, the medieval like armor showed up and it was like God putting it on me getting ready to fight the Devil. I had a sword on my right hand and a shield on my left arm and as I was going to attack, I heard a voice saying "Stop, don't attack with your sword, speak to the Devil with the Word of God and rebuke him!" So I spoke as Christ spoke against the Devil for 40 days and nights. I said " I rebuke you Devil" and the Devil growled and burst into flames. Then I heard my Father, it's just a dream, go back and preach, your job is not done.

I woke up and looked at my left leg and it's still there. My wife was sleeping peacefully and saw my kids getting ready for school and said , "Good morning daddy!". I was trying to not to cry and thought to myself, "I am blessed". I am 35 years old, had some great experiences in Okinawa, Philippines, Hawaii, and many other places and have seen things that were out of ordinary. And I am so blessed that I am still alive and I just know that God wants me to preach the wonderful Gospel of Christ. Bring healing to the sick, heal the brokenhearted, bring Salvation to the people through Jesus Christ and teach them the Kingdom of God. Oh, my heart is still beating and it's beating for Christ. All for Jesus! I thank you Lord for my life, my church, my family, and my friends!

My thoughts as a pastor.

As a pastor, I have tried to be as humble as Christ is.  No matter what, I am still a human being with flaws!  One thing I do know is that as a pastor, I try to make this church uplifting, loving and a place where they can call a spiritual home but it starts with a pastor who is willing to put his ego and pride aside, and allow the Holy Spirit to flow throughout the church.  As long as I, as pastor, keep Christ first above all and know that He is the head of the church, I can be blessed as a pastor.

Here are the list I try to follow as a pastor:

I am not here to judge or condemn you but to uplift you in Spirit and be a forgiving person as Christ is.

The Bible says, "Judge not, and you shall not be judged. Condemn not, and you shall not be condemned.   Forgive, and you will be forgiven. (Luke 6:37)
As a pastor, I do my best to let the congregation feel loved, accepted by God, and let the know that God is for them, not against them.  Yes, people and I will do things that are against His eyes but what is amazing about God is that He's very forgiving and will listen to us as we pray, repent, and ask for forgiveness.  No one, including myself, is as perfect as the Son of God, Jesus Christ.

I am not here to hate, belittle you, or put fear in you but to love you as my brother or sister in Christ, to give you the message of Salvation with the  Love of Christ, to increase your faith in His finished Works, and to give you hope, courage, and peace in the Lord.

This is one of my favorite verse:: "
He answered, "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind'; and, 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Luke 10:27) It's important that I pray and ask the Holy Spirit to be prepared before I preach.  The more I know how much I am forgiven and loved by the Most High, the more I can forgive you quickly and love you as much as Christ loved me and you.  Jesus is the first and the last, the Alpha and the Omega, the Finisher of Faith, and or course, or Savior.  He wants us to look at Him as Savior, the Son of God who have sacrificed  His life for us not because He have to but because He loved us so much !

I am thankful to God for this church we are having now.  This church is hungry for the Word of God!  So hungry and thirsty for His Word makes my job as  pastor so exciting!  I feel like I am just a messenger or a pointer to Christ.   I want this church to be all about Jesus and magnify His Name.  I want the blessings of God to flow through this church as we dive into His Living Word.  I just love this church!

God's Blessings

Don't take wealth as your number one source of happiness. Our true richness is in our heart when we accept Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. That free gift is eternal life through Jesus Christ.
